Soul’s Rise is a radiant expression of transformation, capturing the moment when something deep within begins to lift, expand, and return to light. At its core, the painting holds a quiet intensity, a sense of energy gathering and rising, as if the soul itself is emerging from a period of shadow into something luminous and new.
Inspired by the annular eclipse in Autumn 2023, this work carries the memory of that rare and breathtaking alignment, when the sun was partially veiled, yet surrounded by a glowing ring of fire. Within that fleeting moment, prismatic rays broke through, revealing unexpected rainbows within the light. That image became a powerful metaphor, a reminder that even when something feels obscured or diminished, there is still brilliance, color, and life waiting to be seen.
Layers within the painting echo this experience. There is a sense of depth and history, of having moved through loss, heartbreak, or uncertainty, and yet, from within that space, something begins to rise. The light does not overpower the darkness, it grows from it, infused with it, creating a harmony between what has been endured and what is now becoming possible.

Painting is 30" x 30" x 2". Painted in oil, acrylic, and textured medium on a gallery-wrapped canvas in oil, acrylic, and mixed media texture with painted edges so framing is not necessary and a personal preference.
It ships ready-to-hang on its frame.
All orders are shipped either USPS, UPS, FedEx, depending on the size. Estimated shipping charges will be added to check out. These estimates are for continental US shipping expenses. If your actual shipping cost is more than estimated I’ll send you an invoice for the additional. If it’s less, I’ll send you a partial refund for the overcharge!
